In a non-smoking environment, your comfort and enjoyment are a key component of our hospitality. You can choose either a single en suite bedroom or a double bedroom with shared large bathroom. Our home - a modernised Victorian farmhouse set in over 3 acres of gardens and fields on the very edge of the historic village of Fen Drayton (12 quick miles from central Cambridge) - overlooks the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) Fen Drayton Lakes nature reserve, with miles of riverside, lakeside and country access. A short drive away are the cities of Cambridge, Ely and Huntingdon, and the market towns of St Ives and St Neots.  We are surrounded by a nest of villages: Swavesey, Over, Hilton, Willingham, Fen Stanton, Longstanton, Lolworth, Bar Hill, Connington, Hemingford Abbots and Hemingford Grey - all with their own character and within easy reach.  Alternatively, you’re under an hour’s train journey from London’s King’s Cross.

If you are coming to work, or for an interview, you will find the A14 (junction 27 is just a mile from us) provides a direct route to many locations in East Anglia. When you’re not working, you won’t know it’s there.

If you are interested in sport, there are opportunities for walking, running, golfing, or fishing. For the horticulturists, there’s a flowering of gardens to visit (including www.botanic.cam.ac.uk). For the history enthusiast, centuries of discovery. For the gourmet, an endless delight of international cuisine. For the tourist, East Anglia in its richness is easily accessible, (including Kettles Yard). And, of course, for the birdwatcher, there are the RSPB nature reserves.

We offer you comfort and peace in non-smoking premises with off-road parking.

Enjoy the privacy of an en suite bathroom. Laze in the large bathtub in softened water. Sink into the leather armchair to watch colour television with Freeview, or one of our library of films on the DVD player. Make yourself hot chocolate, teas (herbal, Chinese or Indian), or coffee – with fresh milk - and listen to the radio, or bring your own CDs to play. If you are using your computer, we provide a desk, with WiFi or wireless internet access. For an important meeting, a trouser press and a hairdryer provide you with the essential tools! Equally choose the luxury of the double bedroom with a shared bathroom.

From 7 a.m., breakfast is cooked to your taste in the spacious kitchen overlooking the garden. Try our own free-ranging hens' eggs,seasonal fruit from the garden, toast and our own bees' honey, or other delicious choices. For lunch and evening meals, there are a plethora of British and international restaurants, including our local pub The Three Tuns, a mere 5 minutes stroll from our door.
